  • Blech…….

    Countdown to the 11th…….

    Getting audited by the I.R.S…………

My daughter got in a wreck last night…….nobody injured, Thank the Universe……….and Wow! am I ever thankful I coughed up the $800.00 for insurance on that car, even if there is no collision coverage, can you imagine?!  That car is in my name, and she’s living in my house! I could have lost everything……..scares the crap out of me!

    Just, Blech!

At least the sun is shining through the window, and I saw a Robin!  Spring is coming! Woot!

For the Blogring, I’m to tell you about a moment in time I wish I could hold onto a bit longer.

One of course, would be the evening Bob died, I wish I could be there again, having dinner with him, hearing him talk about the sunshine that he stood in out in front of the office that day.  But I’m depressed enough, so I’m gonna think about a happier one….

Hiking in Yosemite with Rick, past all the beautiful rivers, waterfalls, the flowers blooming in the trees, we hiked all the way up to the top of Vernal Falls, and there we put a blanket down in the sunshine, and lay there in each others arms and watched the spectacular show the river was putting on.  I love his low, growly voice, and I can hear him as we lay there, telling me how happy he is, and how much he loves me, and how wonderful I am.  Ha!  Yeah, I need to remember that right now…..

I think about this wonderful time often, and wish I could take a nap up there, right now!

I’m comparing the sparkle in my wedding ring to the diamonds in the water!            Me and my Rickypoo!

Yeah, that was a wonderful afternoon, a wonderful trip, a wonderful man…..

  • What a romantic time…I would love something like that, but with Frank, not Rick…unless he’s passing out diamonds like yours, then maybe ….haha….

And to think that you had the unmidigated gaul to come to MY site the other day and told me to admit that I couldn’t spell with a shit!!!!!!  hahahahaha…Karma baby, Karma!!!!!!! ;-p

  • Oh my…first off, glad your girl is alright!! Phew…

And your ‘moment in Time’ is wonderful and so very sweet.
I bet it was hard to not go with Bob, but you did good, girl. Love the pictures, thank you for sharing.

    Hugs, L.

  • Beautiful post and pictures. Sounds like a memory to be cherished. Your lucky, many men are not nearly as romantic : )

  • So glad she is okay. My oldest is getting ready to take his test for his permit, and I’m not thrilled about it. I mean how can expect someone who has to ask you twice “what did you ask me to do?” or who can’t find whatever it is he is looking for and it turns out to be right at his feet, to operate a moving vehicle?! Aack!

I thougt for sure it would be a moment from your past, and I’m so glad that you have these wonderful “moments” with Rick filling up your memory now so you can look back at something so happy. And wow, what a gorgeous place! Man, it really makes me miss Colorado about now! Our hearts are with you

  • I’m an idiot. I didn’t even comment about your babygirl being in an accident. I am so glad that she is safe and sound. Yep. You can’t beat that old car insurance.   I bet she was pretty shaken…you’ll have to make her a cake or something.

  • Im glad your daughter is alright and you have insurance! Whew saved yourself on that one.

As for the audit thing, that may be more scary then no insurance. lol

  • Glad to hear that no one was hurt in the accident.

And what a beautiful memory. I’m going to try and focus on the happy memories of my mom instead of simply the last memories of her. Thank you for the inspiration

  • Wow-to carry that rock around, do you need extra support? Is that like having a third boob…LOL

Whew, I’m glad your daughter is OK. People under 25 just shouldn’t drive.

    RITA.

  • Good for you, thinking about something so delightful.  I hope the audit goes better than you expect.

  • M’Lady

A moment in time like that is always a welcome memory.  It is the kind you hold very close to your heart, especially in times when your heart is heavy.  Thank you so much for sharing it and for looking past your pain to bring us a happy moment. . .it takes your kind of strength to do that~Kween

  • Glad no one was hurt. Thank goodness for that. Some of my best moments are related to nature. Thanks for sharing yours.. and your sparkly ring compares very nicely!

  • OMG… I’m glad your daughter is fine. If only we could guarantee their safety.

I love how you write when you reminisce. May you and Rick have so many lovely memories that you would fill the Library of Congress with your writings.

BTW.. you sparkle more than your ring.
