Another 11th………sigh………..26 months ago today
The headache started yesterday, my vision became blurry, little rainbows and prisms danced in my peripheral vision. Couldn’t take too much light, went to bed for a few hours. It started letting up in the evening, Rick was so adorable, cranky one minute, loving on me the next. Gosh, he’s so wonderful……..
We met on the 10th, so we always try to say something to each other, it’s a nice thing, makes the next day more bearable. He might get mad at me for putting this on here, but I read this note from him this morning, and it made me cry.
“Eight months. Hard to believe. In some ways it’s been like a blink. In others like a pleasant eternity. So much has transpired in that short time that it seems like we are old souls together. I can’t begin to express my appreciation and love for you. The language can be so limiting sometimes. Suffice it to say that you mean the universe to me. I am a child and I am a man. Both of us need you so, so very much. Thank you. I love you.”
Well, if he gets embarassed I’ll take it down. I just appreciate so much his kindnesses, and how he goes out of his way to remind me of his love. I hope I deserve him, I hope he knows I love him dearly, too. I think he’s a “one in a million”.

What a beautiful love note. Perhaps he won’t be mad that you shared it when he realizes that we all agree that he is one in a million. You are lucky to have found him but don’t you doubt for a moment that you deserve him, missy! A love like this doesn’t happen by mistake. Your lives were meant to be shared.
I recognize those migraine symptoms. I hope you are feeling better today. I often have a “migraine hangover” the next day … if the dang this has even run its course yet. So please take it easy today or you’ll end up right back where you were.

it is so wonderful that you have been blessed with someone so great as Rick.i’ve only been reading your blog for 2 days now and i feel like i know you two.i sincerely wish you both all the best in the world. this Rick seems like a wonderful sweet guy….just remind him every once in a while how lucky he is to have you..lol.

Awwww, that was such a SWEET NOTE!! It reminds me of the little note that my hubby leaves for me. Even to this day…coming near our 4 year Anniversary…he still does it. Anyway, that is so sweet and heartfelt…shes a KEEPER!
Just got caught up on your last few posts. Thanks for sharing all 63 things about yourself. It’s nice to get to know you better. I was teased and made fun of alot, all through school, so I am kinda the same way. I have friends, but no really close friends. Wish I did sometimes and I wish I knew how. Maybe someday I’ll figure it out. Nice for you that you pick such wonderful men to share your life with you. Sounds like you do good in that area at least. Have a great day!
in responce to your question, Matt my boyfriend does contract work in Iraq, which is why he was gone three months. He was back due to an appendix rupture, but he’s shipping back out soon.

Aww. I’m glad to have read such a beautiful note. You both have been blessed with each other. I am so happy for you! My Ubby rarely leaves me notes but he did write a beautiful dedication to me in his book. We got great men.
